Our Story

Wilby Transport was first opened in 1985 by a young 23 year old Steve Wilby. Steve Wilby was quick to attract the attention of local businesses for providing high levels of service and grew his own company to accommodate. In 2016, brothers Matt and Rob Pellicci acquired Wilby Transport. Their Desire was to build upon the strong and reliable brand Steve Wilby built.
Today, Wilby Transport has grown to become one of Australia’s largest over-dimensional transport specialists. To cope with the growing demand, Wilby Transport has had to keep expanding by hiring only the best crew, most of whom are still employed by Wilby Transport today. We now specialise in moving most oversize items including modular buildings, telecommunication buildings, shelters, wind farm, construction and agricultural equipment.

Wilby Transport specialises in over-dimensional loads throughout Australia. Our fleet includes modern trucks with a wide variety of trailers including flat tops, Drop decks, Drop Decks with ramps, Drop Deck extendables, Low loaders quad floats, B Double configurations and Road Trains to cover most of your requirements.

Our head office is located in Carrum Downs, Victoria and we have receiving and storage depots in all states.

Wilby Transport is accredited with NHVR and WA Main Roads. Our accreditation covers Driver Fatigue and Vehicle Maintanence.

The total fleet was purchased from new to our specifications to accomodate our customers needs and are renewed on a regular basis to ensure we cope with changing requirements of clients and regulations altering from time to time, allowing Wilby Transport to give the highest level of service.
